We gotta admit, Uniqlo has done our wardrobes a serious favor by providing the best and affordable everyday basics we could find, without making our wallets suffer too much.
While we already have a solid rotation of clothing essentials from the brand, Uniqlo will—yet again—turn us into shopaholics for on-trend versatile pieces that will be released in its Fall/Winter 2017 collection on Sept. 22, Friday.
While there’s every reason to love the Japanese innovation in Uniqlo’s HEATTECH, AIRism, and Ultra Light Down lines, it’s the collaborations with European fashion houses that we’ll definitely be spending on.
First on the collab list is Irish designer JW Anderson, who has created the most colorful Uniqlo pieces to date. Playing with bold colors in classic patterns, JW Anderson puts together the vibrancy of London design and Japanese simplicity.
Keep your eyes peeled for his multicolored-stripe pieces with edgy neckline cuts. There’s also sleek A-line pants made with comfortable fabric that would give anyone who wears it the ideal figure. And who could forget the crowd-favorite denim skirt that effortlessly lends a classy flair? Certainly not us.
With a palette that’s a bit toned down compared to Anderson’s choice of colours, the Inés De La Fressange collaboration continues for the eight season. If you’re going for the Parisian chic vibe, look no further from this collection. They’ve nailed the layered looks perfect for the office to Instagram posts.
Whether you have an international flight soon or you’re a big fan of the current sweater weather, invest in the Nordic-style outerwear from this French atelier. Girls should also have at least one dress from the brand, which is nothing short of elegant despite its casual cuts.
This is also the first season the French designer came out with a men’s line for Uniqlo. It has its own share of stand-up collar coats and tweed jackets, and We the Pvblic absolutely loves the convertible collar coat made out of soft but cozy fabric that easily pairs with any outfit. It comes in an Army green color that would make you want to cop it ASAP (girls, you’d probably want this on your wardrobe too).
Trust us, these Fall/Winter releases are more-than-basic pieces that’ll be part of your outfit staples every day.
