We know you’ve been working hard and it pays off every once in a while. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is going to give the working force of Manila free rides on Labor Day this May 1!
This applies to all pvblic and private workers from 7 am to 9 am, and 5 pm to 7 pm. You can present your company ID to avail of the free ride. Nice one, DOTr!
GOOD NEWS: In celebration of the 116th Labor Day, DOTr MRT-3 will offer FREE RIDES to ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE WORKERS on May 1, 2018, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. #DOTrPH 🇵🇭#DOTrMRT3 #SulongMRT3 pic.twitter.com/tDu1C9ocn6

This is in compliance of the MRT improving its services to the pvblic. The DOTr announced on April 5 that 16 trains were now operating instead of 15 trains earlier that week.
Back in February, only around six trains were bringing people back and forth. Spare parts were delivered mid-February and its services began to improve in March. Hopefully, we can continue on with this kind of improvement and give the DOTr a slow clap for the gesture.
No more breakdowns this 2018, MRTs! You can do it.
