The “Stranger Things” kids just performed a Motown medley on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and this proves they can do no wrong.
Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp appeared in a mockumentary in which revealed that before the ST boys became television stars, they were first part of a Motown cover band with Corden called “The Upside Downs.”
The group mentions the band’s history, saying: “Some people thought it was weird that James hung out with us because he’s an adult, but we actually went to school with him,” Wolfhard mentioned. “You know, he was held back a couple of years, but we were in the same grade.”
The boys got an audition for their parts and all of them, except Corden, landed their roles. McLaughlin though called the band “the most creatively fulfilling thing I’ve ever been a part of.”
The boys closed the show with a medley performance by the quintet who sang “I Want You Back” by the Jackson Five, “My Girl” from the Temptations, and “I’ll Be There” from the Four Tops.
Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven also recently appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” where she showcased her own musical skills by creating a rap recap of Season 1 of “Stranger Things.”
