Listen up, superhero fans: A living legend is about to grace us with his presence in March this year!
Yes, it’s been confirmed that Stan Lee—one of the creators of the biggest superhero characters to date, including Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and the X-men—is going to be in Manila to headline Comic-Con Asia 2018. His superhero creations have dominated the pop culture scene for more than half a century.
Stan, now 95 years old, is a Marvel Comics chairman emeritus and former editor in chief. He still plays an active role in the company, and we all know this is true as he plays all those lovable and hilarious cameos across all the films Marvel Studios have produced.
Joining him in Comic-con Asia are Filipino Marvel penciller Harvey Tolibao, NBA star Ray Allen and Walter Jones (the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” Black Ranger OG).
The annual convention is set to happen on March 24 to 25 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. It’s going to be the epicenter of pop culture in March, bringing together the best of comics, manga, series, anime, film, toys, gaming, and cosplay.
According to Philippine Concerts Facebook page, Comic-con Asia’s one-day pass is at P800, and a two-day pass is at P1,300.
