Former Ateneo de Manila University star Kiefer Ravena apologized to everyone affected by his photo scandal on Tuesday, including his girlfriend, Alyssa Valdez.

“Gusto ko mag-apologize with what actually happened,” Ravena told reporters a day after arriving from Singapore. “I’m very, very sorry sa nangyari, na sa pag-entertain ko, nauwi siya sa ganitong pangyayari.”

Ravena gave a specific apology to his parents who were there to help him file a case in a Quezon City court after the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of a certain Kristoffer Monico Ng who was charged with robbery and extortion.

He gave an apology as well to his siblings, saying he failed as a role model to them.

Above all, he apologized to his girlfriend Alyssa. “Nagso-sorry ako lalo na kay Alyssa. I have no excuse for what happened. I’m very, very sorry sa nangyari. Sa sobrang bait mong tao, hindi ka dapat nalalagay sa ganitong sitwasyon.”

He also apologized repeatedly for “entertaining” another woman whom he had explicit Viber conversations with.

“Siguro andoon ako sa point na kung umamin man ako o hindi, I think it won’t affect whatever I say, ‘di ba? Kung sinasabi nila na I’m trying to cover up things with what happened, siguro ano pang iko-cover ko? One month na ang pictures sa social media.”

“I guess, ‘yun na lang ‘yun, parang for me, people already made up kung ano man ang tingin nila sa what happened. Ako, I understand whatever judgment they made about me.”

“Yeah, I entertained. I made a mistake, in doing so. I’m very sorry, I’m really sorry for what happened. It’s something that I really regret doing,” Ravena told the pvblic.

He added, “It messed a lot of people’s lives, not just mine. Mas nahihiya ako sa mga naabala kong tao, more than anything else.”

“Gusto ko na rin mag-focus sa basketball,” he ended.
