Greenwich’s Overloaded Pizza District offers a sensory overload for World Pizza Day

We The Pvblic

Much like its namesake, Greenwich turned a park in Makati into a charming and vibrant district of its own where Filipino pizza-lovers can experience the sight, smell, sound, and taste of the very best by Greenwich, in honor of the worldwide event.

On February 9, the Dolphin Park at Glorietta 4, Makati City was transformed into an exciting pizza village where food lovers explored all that the Overloaded Pizza District had to offer and more. The fun started at 5pm, where you can walk down Lasagna Lane and relax while enjoying Greenwich’s signature Lasagna Supreme, and other pasta favorites; check out the IG-worthy Hawaiian Combi Corner, a tropical photo wall made for the perfect group-fie with your friends and family; strut into the Pizza Parlor, and witness your favorite Greenwich Hawaiian and Ultimate Overload pizzas made by hand; stroll down Sidekick Street and feast on tasty sidekicks such as Potato Waves, Wacky Wings, and other favorites.

Aside from having all your Greenwich favorites, the Overloaded Pizza District also showcased the Main Plaza at the center, featuring performances from local acts such as Hale, Mayonnaise, and Silent Sanctuary. Guests participated in different contests such as the Pizza Eating Contest, the Box Overload Challenge, and the Hawaiian Hula Dance Off.

Resident Greenwich kabarkada Robi Domingo also introduced his new Greenwich friends- Ella Cruz, Julian Trono, JC Santos and Bella Padilla. Yassi Pressman was unable to attend the event due to conflict in schedule.

It was definitely an affair to remember, overloaded with the best-tasting pizzas, great sounds, and unforgettable barkada moments. The perfect way to celebrate World Pizza Day.
