IN PHOTOS: The pvblic’s best shots of the Super Blue Blood Moon

Millions of people all over the world gathered to catch a rare lunar trifecta which is a combination of a total eclipse with a blue moon and super moon. It happened for the first time in 35 years.

A super moon is a full or new moon which occurs when it’s 90 percent closest to Earth while a blue moon is the second full moon of the month. A total lunar eclipse came into play to make way for a beautiful night sky with a Super Blue Blood Moon.

In anticipation, people all over the world readied their cameras and took shots of the moon and we’ve loved every single one. Here are a few of our favorites:
