If you’ve watched 2017 SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping,” then you’ve probably fallen head over heels for Jung Hae-in who played police office Han Woo-tak.
The charismatic actor played the second male lead on the drama, and let’s all be real, viewers didn’t mind if Suzy Bae kept Lee Jong-suk—we all had another oppa to swoon over.
But Hae-in is set for bigger things this 2018. He’s been confirmed as the lead actor for JTBC’s “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” with 36-year-old actress Son Ye-jin. This is the first time he is up for a lead role and this drama is also Ye-jin’s long overdue comeback to the small screen after five years. The pilot episode of the Friday-Saturday drama is reported to show this March.
Hae-in plays a character named Seo Joon-hee, a designer at a computer video company who has worked overseas for the past three years. He isn’t glad in the changes in his career and lifestyle, not until he meets Yoon Jin Ah (Son Ye-jin).
“I am full of excitement and anticipation to be working with director Ahn Pan Suk and actress Son Ye Jin on such a great production, though I also do feel a bit of pressure. I will work hard to make a good drama,” Hae-in said.
